Pinterest - I did it! - Menu dry erase
This was incredibly easy - I did it after work. I never do ANY projects start to finish after work. It's a little hard when you work 7:30-6 everyday, and cook your wonderful hubby dinner (which is why we need this menu board)
And it cost me NOTHING! That might be the best part? I found a brand new, never opened, solid wood and glass picture frame from Pier One in the pile of crap craft stuff supplies my mom gave me. I had spray paint left over from another project in the hammered metal color. The scrapbook paper was in my stash, as were the round stickers. Letters and lines were done by hand with a sharpie. We have big plans in the kitchen for a feature wall - this will hang out there when everything else is done.
And now for the home tour - check it out! (and if you like what you see - follow along there as well.)

Cute! I love finding extra picture frames, too.
ReplyDeleteWe used to write out our menu, but that only lasted a week and a half. Ha ha. We tend to eat whatever we feel like the day of.
Love this! I'd also love to start planning ahead a little bit better. (I did this week, thanks to my mom's handoff Food Network mag!) And score on the found materials. Thanks for linking up! It worked just right!
ReplyDeleteThis looks really great, and I love that it cost you nothing!
ReplyDeleteI love it when I see people actually creating things they pin! I have to say I have probably achieved very little from my many, many pins but it is fantastic inspiration. This is a very cute idea - I use a blackboard on my kitchen door for the same concept. :) xx
